Got Koss KPH40 utility recently and it's pretty fun. It's not as loud as I'd like but the sound quality is quite good. Pretty good detail with suprisingly decent bass. A tiny bit of sound-leak but not that bad. Sits quite comfortably on the head.
Whatever. We all know this already. That's already talked about but 1 criteria nobody mentions is headbangability. I was an IEM person for the most part because I move my head a lot when music plays. KPH40 stays on my head fine but for a violent enough head shake, it starts moving. It survives mild desk headbanging pretty well but, not as good as an IEM.
